User Management
The administration service allows you as an Administrator to grant access to a Tenant, and its related Workspace(s) in the Truesec Portal, for other users in or associated with your organization.
-
Navigate to the Tenant Members interface through the Portal, or navigate directly to https://admin.truesec.app/
-
Select Tenant Members and find the Invite member option. Define initial role and Workspace(s).

-
The Invited colleague will receive an invite email, with a link to Activate Platform Account, from the sender no-reply@truesec.app.
If the email is not received, ensure it is not set in Quarantine.
Tenant Roles
Defined in the Administration Portal under Tenant Members: https://admin.truesec.app
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Administrators have the authority to invite members to the Tenant, promote Tenant members to Administrators, and assign access and roles within service Workspaces linked to the administration Tenant. Organizations should always maintain at least one Administrator. |
| Member | Tenant Members do not have access to the administration Portal or a Workspace. Each Tenant Member must be assigned an administrator role to manage tenant members and a Workspace-specific role to access services in the Portal. A Tenant Member can be granted Workspace membership and roles either through the initial invitation or, for additional Workspaces, via the administration Portal. |
Workspace Roles
Defined in the Administration Portal under Workspaces: https://admin.truesec.app

| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Workspace Owner | Workspace Owners have complete access to all Workspace services and configurations. This role is designated for Tenant Administrators and other users authorized to perform case management and establish company routines, such as incident communications, escalation priorities & contact mandates. Workspace Owners are responsible for maintaining the Workspace’s automations and contact information. |
| Contributor | Contributors have full access to all Workspace services. This role is designed for users actively involved in case management across services. The Contributor role is the most commonly used. Privileges do not extend to configuration changes, such as incident communications, escalation priorities, or contact mandates. |
| Reader | Readers have read-only access to all Workspace services. This is a limited role, intended for informational use only. |
| Incident Technician | Incident Technicians have access to Managed Detection & Response service only. This role is primarily designed for remote service desk users for management of Incidents. The limited access includes general Threat Intelligence services, such as Threat Notices. The role has no access to additional Workspace services, contacts, mandates, automations, documents or operational reports. |
| Portal User | Portal Users have read-only access to non-company specific content in the Portal, e.g. Threat Notices, Ransomware Insights and Webinar & Events. The role has no access to Workspace services, such as Managed Detection & Response. |
